How much does therapy cost?

Ironically, insurance is often the biggest barrier in accessing quality mental health care. Associate therapists like myself aren’t allowed to contract/panel with insurance companies until we log a certain amount of therapy hours. I hate that for me and I hate that for you, so I have some work-arounds that may help!

  • Individual Therapy: $150

    Family Therapy: $200

    Couples/Relationship Therapy: $200

*Sliding scale ranges from full price to $90 a session*

  • I  offer superbills for individuals who are covered under other insurance providers. A superbill is an itemized invoice of your therapy session that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Clients will pay for services out of pocket up front and then submit any superbills to their insurance for out of network reimbursement, which is not guaranteed and dependent on individual plan benefits. I encourage you to call and ask your insurance if they accept superbills prior to beginning therapy services.

  • I am also partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya is a great option if you have out-of-network benefits as a part of your health insurance plan or if you have submitted superbills in the past but failed to get any reimbursement.

    Here's how it works:

        1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/Iu6BNg1RzAnZiJQ9Fbx3

        2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.

        3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

        4. You get reimbursed by insurance.
